XperTelephony Platform

Revolutionize the way you handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls by using XperTelephony Server's Computer Telephone Integration capabilities.

Every organization receives incoming and initiates outgoing telephone calls. As with other areas of data and telecommunication networks, the call processing can be further automated and made more efficient. The XperTelephony allows you to handle calls in the most cost effective and efficient manner.

XperTelephony is a Communication Server that can be used to deploy applications that require integration between a computer and a telephone. These applications may include Call Center, Screen Pop Up, Order Entry Automation, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) and more. XperTelephony can be modified for each application allowing analog and digital integration with many Key and PBX telephone systems. The server can communicate with the PBX via a telephone system dependent API or a manufacturer’s proprietary API Link.

The Server is designed to process both incoming and outgoing calls. By adding telephony devices such as analog or digital interfaces, incoming calls can be answered and outgoing calls can be initiated automatically.

When an incoming call is answered, XperTelephony can receive detail information regarding the call. This information includes Dialed Number Identification (DNIS), Incoming Caller ID (ICLID), Direct Inward Dialing (DID) number and other valuable data. XperTelephony will search for the received information in an application-related database. When a matching record is found, the Call Server will select the extension and network workstation associated with that record. The telephony server will then transfer the incoming call to the extension and send the provided information to a network workstation running XperTelephony Call Manager software. The XperTelephony can be modified to allow a screen pop up to display on the network workstation’s Call Manager software. The Call Manager software is required for each workstation communicating with the Call Server.

XperTelephony can automate the process involved in making outgoing calls. This automation can be used in many applications such as Predictive Dialing, Integrated Global Address Book Out-Dialing, Automated Call Conferencing, Scheduled Calls, Follow-Me Service and many more.

The XperTelephony Server communicates with the Call Manager workstation software. The XpertClient software functions as a client of the XperTelephony Server. It will send and receive the integration data from the XperTelephony Server. For example, the XperTelephony can be used to automate calls to a contact in a Global Address List, Personal Address Book or Outlook Contact List. In this example, the user will choose the contact from the address book and click on the call button. The XpertClient will send the contact’s telephone number to the server with the outgoing call request. The server receives the user’s request, initiates the call and the user’s telephone will start ringing. As soon as the user picks up the telephone, a connection is established between the user and the called party. The XperTelephony Server handles busy line situations automatically via a pop up message on the workstation.

The XperTelephony can be modified through a development toolkit, allowing total flexibility for the XperTelephony Server to accommodate the requirements of any application. Our development team provides call flow design for each specific application assuring successful integration and implementation of each system.

The XperTelephony supports any network running on TCP/IP protocol and supports XMLHttp, SOAP, XML Services, and HTTP remote invocation methods.
