Student Absence Notification System:
School Suite’s absence notification capabilities help reduce student absenteeism and alert parents of chronic-absence situations. With this knowledge, parents can resolve the situation before it causes severe problems for the student, parents and the school.

Automatic Absence Notification by Telephone:
The Student Absence Notification System relieves your staff of the need to spend their valuable time calling the parents of absent students each day. The system accesses the names and phone numbers of absent students from the school’s computer or database. Then the system automatically calls those phone numbers and plays a pre-recorded message informing parents of their child’s absence. You can easily customize this message for each school in your district.
You can also program the system to make calls only during specific times, such as evening hours, when parents are most likely to be home. When parents receive absence-notification calls, the system asks them to confirm they’ve received the call by pressing 1. If there is no confirmation, the system plays the message twice, assuring that it is received even if an answering machine or voice-mail system answers the call. The system can be programmed to repeat the calls until someone answers.
