Pharmacy Assistant
Pharmacy Assistant is an
Interactive Voice Response product designed to provide the
pharmacies with a complete solution to automate Prescription Refill
Ordering, Incoming Call Routing, Call Logging, Prescription Delivery
Orders, Order Confirmation and Customer Announcements.
Prescription Refill
-
Pharmacy Assistant answers all
incoming calls and provides the caller with menu options, one of
which is Prescription Refill.
-
The caller is asked to enter the
prescription number and a phone number or first three letters of
the patient's last name using a touch tone telephone. The callers
using a rotary phone will automatically get transferred to a
predefined destination or extension.
-
The system repeats the information
that was entered by the caller and asks the caller to verify each
entry.
-
Pharmacy Assistant logs the time that
the call was received and plays back a time after which the
prescription will be ready for pick up.
-
The caller is given an option to place
a refill order for another prescription or route to another
destination.
-
Pharmacy Assistant generates a printed
copy of the prescription refill order on a printer located at or
near the pharmacist's desk.
-
Optional integration with most
existing pharmacy system.
